POSITION TITLE: Product Designing Engineer
LOCATION: Shenzhen, P.R. China
REPORTS TO: Manager of R&D Center (Shenzhen Based)

BACKGROUND: To match with the rapid product-line expansion of the company, and to improve the quality and function of the Fiber Optical products, the Company has the recruitment need of high caliber Product Designing Engineer who will be responsible for the research and development of new fiber optical active devices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and development of fiber optical active devices according to the R&D plan of the organization;
2. Provide technical assistance to the customer sales force in translating customer needs in design specifications for interconnect solutions;
3. Responsible for the whole projects procedure, from designing phase until product release;
4. Support high volume optical device production and work as consultant for production sectors;
5. Interface with customers on product qualifications.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Master or Ph.D. in optical or related disciplines;
2. Strong technical background and solid experience in development of fiber optical active devices;
3. Good communication ability both in English and in Chinese;
4. High standards of integrity, ethical standard; Good interpersonal skills, team work spirit;
5. Able to work professionally under minimum guidance and supervision.
