POSITION :IT Manager - Operational Management
LOCATION:Shanghai, China
REPORTS TO:Head of China Information Technology Office

Its member companies are engaged in a wide range of insurance (life and general), financial services as well as investment management businesses in more than 130 countries throughout the world.
DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the Operational Management Team in China Information Technology Office located in Shanghai;
Work with management, business managers and IT managers in China Division to ensure close alignment of business and IT strategy;
Bridge business and IT managers in terms of knowledge and mindset;
Bring business solutions to achieve lasting changes, from conceptualization to implementation;
Explore opportunities to apply new technologies to insurance operations;
Redesign business models and processes to improve service, customer relationship, productivity and reduce cost;
Run projects across various business groups and branches in China;
Initial responsibilities include eBusiness, imaging and workflow, call center and various projects related to life insurance operations.
REQUIRMENTS:
University graduate with minimum 5 years experience preferably in life insurance and relevant experience;
Experience in planning and implementing IT initiatives;
Concrete reengineering / process improvements experience, including planning and implementation;
Strong team building, interpersonal and leadership skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Good written and spoken English and Chinese;
Frequent travel across China branches is necessary.
