The Group has established over 300 outlets of wholly owned or franchising business in the region covering Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea.
With commitment to the expansion of business in Greater China, the company has the recruitment need for a General Manager who has the overall management responsibilities for the company in Shanghai.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Develop the company business in China for ready-to-wear;
2. Define and coordinate business plan, sales forecast, buying strategy, buying budget, brand development strategy, merchandising mix, distribution policy;
3. Develop fashion buying through market study, competition analysis, product development, pricing review;
4. Organize and manage buying of seasonal items, replenishment of permanent items, to ensure right products and right quantities are purchased to meet sales objectives, and initiate and organize stock transfer within the region;
5. Define, plan and coordinate with store network, retail management, inventory control, discount policy, staff management;
6. Define and control sales projections, sales analysis, profit margin, and operation expenses;
7. Support sales team through product training, event promotion, merchandising display;
8. Enhance and monitor brand image and position in the China market.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree holder in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, Business Studies, or Hotel Management with recognized Chinese university or top international university, preferably with a MBA degree;
2. At least 5 years of experience in merchandising , buying, financial, marketing of fashion, accessories or luxury goods, preferably with retail operation experience;
3. Indepth knowledge and exposure in retail fashion, accessories or luxury goods management;
4. Strong fashion and market sense;
5. Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
6. Fluent in English and Chinese;
7. Good communication and presentation skills.
