We are seeking a high caliber person to fill the position of China Marketing Manager
As Asia Pacific’s new China Marketing Manager, your key responsibility will be leading and developing business in the China’s telecommunications test, measurement, and monitoring markets as well as markets involving test and measurement for electronic and digital design and video and TV. In this role, you will be required to understand the market and customer needs, enable our sales force, and build the Brand of Tektronix. Other key functions include inbound and outbound marketing functions, managing the product lifecycle activities for the region of China, and ensuring that the needs for the field technical expertise are being met. Your goal will be to align you actions with our worldwide objectives while satisfying China’s local needs.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical marketing and/or sales experience with at least three years managing others in multiple industries such as electronics, computing, communications, semiconductors, or video. Experience working with China markets and cultures while being fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English is a must. We are looking for a high energy; enthusiastic individual who is goal-results oriented who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and has excellent communication and presentation skills. A technical educational background in engineering, physics, or mathematics with a MBA is highly desirable.
