The positioning is to make ABS the leading provider of management systems regardless of the business problem or the technology that is employed. This means we will work with OLAP, DSS , EIS, Data Warehousing, Intranet technologies, and with any hardware or software vendor that is appropriate. We will provide both products and services, but in some cases work with other vendors providing just the consultancy and implementation skills.
In-line with the expansion of the Management Applications Division, ABS requires a sales executive to lead the growth over the coming years. This person will work with one of the two British partners of the company, who has 15 years of experience in this area. This person will be supported by a twelve strong professional services team to assist in pre-sales support. Additional resources can be provided as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for all existing account and new business sales. He will work with the management to develop the range of products and services offered, and to set and execute the long term sales strategy for the division.
ABS is a dynamic company with a highly flexible management approach. The management believe in allowing people the space to work and be managed in the way that suites the individual. The market that we operate in is diverse in industry and nationalities.
The ideal candidates should be self motivated, flexible, and demonstrate some entrepreneurial tendencies. They should posses good business and industry knowledge and preferably have some experience of the Data Warehousing and/or DSS fields, although this is not necessary for a candidate who has the other attributes required. Preference would be given to those who have some experience of living as an expatriate, or those who are younger and flexible in their approach to life.
