My Client - Global Blue Chip consulting organisation, respected in the area of Management Consulting Services.
The Requirement - Senior Manager Supply Chain Management – High Tech Manufacturing industry.
The Scope - Key senior role in the development of the High Tech Manufacturing industry practice. Part of your role includes leading business development efforts and directing major projects in East Asia.
You will work with clients to achieve supply chain operational improvements, playing a leadership role in the development, design and implementation of new supply chain and systems.
Minimum skills and core competencies -
MBA or equivalent, is preferred
Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain management or customer dynamics in areas such as inbound and outbound logistics, manufacturing, retail and category management within the High Tech Manufacturing industry
Be a recognized leader in supply chain management for the High Tech Manufacturing industry
Preferably involved with or led major change program
Experience user of ERP packages including SAP/Peoplesoft/Oracle/Retex
Proven ability in business development
Solid understanding of current business and technology issues facing the High Tech Manufacturing industry
Strong entrepreneurial skills with high energy and motivation levels
Highly-developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and a willingness to travel
Local or returning locals will be given preference.
