I am a qualified social scientist and working journalist. I have postgraduate degrees in Mass Communications and english Literature and have long experience of working for a newspaper (1975 to 1997) and Reuters, a news agency (1982-1997). At present I am working on my doctorate in Mass Communications on "Media,terrorism & State : Challenges for a Democracy". I am a recipient of KK Birla Fourndation Fellowship, one of the most prestigious fellowship for journalists in India. I am an experienced sports journalist and have covered two Olympic Games, four World cups in field hockey, two World Cups in cricket besides several other tournaments. I am a Canadian presently living in India and looking for a job opportunity downunder.
