Job Description:
The Manager of Business Process Engineering [BPE] will serve as the interface between engineering clients/users and the engineers, helping to develop the business need, clarify requirements, and launch solution development efforts through completion. This role encompasses developing a process for launching, controlling and reporting status for major engineering projects.
Responsibilities to include [but not limited to]:
· Develop engineering project management office to launch, control and report on major projects.
· Identify opportunities to reengineer key business processes that offer major impact to revenue programs, and cost reduction programs. Create the business case for change, and drive the project from start to finish.
· Serve as the client/user interface for developing the business need on major projects, assist in requirements development and technical solution implementation.
· Ensure that major programs have comprehended change management issues, and client/user training.
· Assist in the communication between clients/users and technical staff
Experience Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the launch and implementation of complex projects that requires cooperation of multiple business & technical areas for success.
Technical environment:
· Windows NT 4.0, IIS 4.0, SQL 7.0, IE 4.x or Netscape 4.x, MS Office
· TCP/IP networking, routing
· LAN, Ethernet
· WAN: frame relay, VPN
· Remote access
Education:
BA/BS. MBA a plus.
