Salary: $90K - 120K USD Annually
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate and test eCommerce applications. The software will
include database engines, COM components, Active Server Pages and XML,
and will incorporate features such as high availability and scalability. Take
responsibility for the development of complete sub-systems, and provide
guidance to other team members working on the project.
Qualifications:
Three (3) or more year of hands-on experience in the development of
eCommerce applications using Microsoft tools and technologies (i.e.
COM/DCOM, MTS, ASP, MS-SQL Server, Visual Basic, VBScript, and Jscript).
Knowledge of and/or experience with XML is highly desirable. The candidate is
expected to have good communication, problem solving and design skills, and an
in-depth knowledge of one or more of the above technologies. Candidate must
be result oriented and willing to work in a fast paced environment, and set an
example for junior team members.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
OOA/OOD.
Developmental experience in C++ or Java
Development experience and knowledge of Component Models (i.e.
DCOM/CORBA/EJB).
Transaction processing in a high-volume Internet-enabled environment.
Sizing, selection, administration, deployment and optimization of servers,
networks and other components in an Internet environment.
Internet interface technologies (e.g. HTTP, SSL, FTP, RPC ) and related security
issues.
Education:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
