Position: Senior Java Consultants (to relocate to California)
Senior Consultants drive the functional and technical solutions for application development projects using Java, Java Application Servers and related technologies. This includes defining the technical architecture, developing the application framework and leading the design and development of the most complex areas of the application. Candidates must have extensive client/server development experience using C/C++ and/or Web development experience using HTML, Java, Java Application Servers and other Web development technologies. Candidates must possess solid communication skills and business acumen to lead development teams through various phases of the application development lifecycle, including translation of business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
Specific Requirements:
Solid educational background and academic performance is required. Engineering or Computer Science major is preferred. Technical skills include C/C++, HTML, Java (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC), XML, CORBA, RMI or Java Application Server experience such as ATG Dynamo, NetDynamics, Netscape Application Server, SilverStream, WebLogic or WebSphere. Prior experience leading development teams in detailed design, programming and testing is required. Some consulting experience is preferred. Personal and professional attributes include excellent interpersonal and communications skills, judgment, leadership, professionalism, integrity and teamwork.
