As concerning Soeharto, his mother is a Javanese called Sukirah who was an employee of his Chinese father Mah __ __ (forgot -- a reputable businessman in Central Java, in fact, Soeharto (Mah Tek Yong) has a half brother in Solo called Mah Bing Hoo. Anyway, though Soeharto is of Chinese origins (like Gus Dur, Prabowo too), he is Javanese by virtue of culture -- what's in a name anyway, the same goes for his father and figures like Kwik Kian Gie, Admiral John Lie etc.. -- they are in fact more Javenese/Indonesian than those monkeys who claim to be 'pribumi'. So it makes no sense to accuse Soeharto of masterminding anti-Chinese violence because he has Chinese blood in him, just look at his face with his slanted-eyes. In fact, the ones reponsible are fascist officials and Army officers (they're all stinky and dark little fellows (usually yogyanese) who pathetically try to emulate the White Man) who at the same time hate Islam and the Chinese due to the historical facts. Therefore they try to create friction between Muslims and Chinese to maintain control.
