I dont have time to say much, but I think China Mainland and many chinese wont believe in a peaceful reunificatin if taiwan is on the same "level" as the mainland. Taiwan will most possiblly become independent.The force of independece in Taiwan is already very strong( Maybe around 30%-40% of population?)If Taiwan has enough power, it will NEVER unite with mainland.(according to the policy of to Taiwan governement)

And then I believe USA will most likely grant the wish of Taiwan (according to the Bush policy). So soon it will show what will happen after the weapon sale. However, I am not very optimistic for the future (at first the relation between china MAINLAND and USA will be go down and then...), but hope I am wrong. (damn, this earth has already enough wars, and I hate to see a war in which chinese fight against chinese like in the old history)
